The fourth industrial revolution has resulted in what has been called Smart Factory or Industry 4.0. Industries evolve towards a computerised version and product digitalisation and manufacturing, in which all the processes are connected and interact with each other. The 29th BIEMH has had a programme full of conferences, meetings and keynote speeches that have analysed the present and the future of the industry.
Companies and entities such as Siemens, Tecnalia, Houghton Ibérica, Rittal Disprel, S.A., Pilz, Aeronautics Advanced Manufacturing Center and SPRI, to mention some, have promoted debates and speeches informing on multiprocess machines, additive manufacturing, union processes, advanced metrology and a long list of issues that have obtained the general approval of hundreds of attendees.
