Women in Industry (WIN) is a Leaders Summit of conferences, round tables and open spaces for debate, which is scheduled to take place during the BIEMH. It seeks to inspire and challenge organisations to move faster by setting measurable, credible and ambitious goals aligned with gender equality and gender-balanced leadership in industry and technology.

The organiser of WIN is PWN Bilbao, an association of professional women that is part of the international network PWN Global, which works to achieve gender-balanced leadership. The aim of WIN is to make the women’s work in the industrial and technological sector more visible, and to propose lines of work that will accelerate the cultural transformation of industry towards greater diversity and parity.

It seeks to inspire and challenge organisations to move faster by setting measurable, credible and ambitious goals aligned with gender equality and gender-balanced leadership in industry and technology.
The following objectives are pursued:
- To highlight the importance of gender balance in the industrial and technological sector, showing evidence of its benefit and giving a voice to inspiring women who will tell us about their experience.
- To reflect on the challenges companies face to be competitive: talent, technology, leadership, the future of work, STEAM vocations, career design, professional development, new work models, etc., in all of which the gender gap is an additional challenge.
- To explore ways of working with industry to promote this balanced leadership and to be able to roll out specific actions throughout the year.
- To achieve greater involvement and commitment from political and business leaders.
- To showcase Industry and technology as an attractive place for women’s careers.
