Vodafone and the Internet of Things at the 29th BIEMH

One of the star technologies is the 4G Router Machine Link Via Vodafone Automotive, which maintains a permanent Internet connection for reading sensors and monitoring equipment in real time.

Another tool featured by Vodafone at the 29th BIEMH is E-Health. With this solution, users can take their pulse, communicate with a doctor and even monitor medical situations via a mobile device or tablet

Another new product on show at the Vodafone stand is Narrow Band IOT, a technology for connecting to the Internet in difficult environments where there is low signal coverage.  It features a battery that can last up to 10 years and needs no maintenance. It has already been tested at the Aguas de Valencia water utility, where it has been used in flow-meters for metering water.
