The 31 edition of BIEMH is postponed to november 2020

Due to the Public Health Emergency declared by the WHO resulting from the outbreak of the coronavirus, the Organising Committee of BIEMH, the International Machine-Tool Exhibition, made up of Bilbao Exhibition Centre, AFM-Advanced Manufacturing Technologies and AIMHE-Machine Tool Importers Association of Spain, in coordination with the Basque institutions, has decided to postpone the event until November, from 23 to 27. This measure also applies to ADDIT3D, BeDigital, IMIC and Workinn, which were planned to be held in parallel with BIEMH.

By taking this difficult decision, Bilbao Exhibition Centre has adopted the principle of responsibility required by the current situation, in which the containment of the disease is a priority objective and the conditions required to hold an event of this nature with the required safety are not in place.

As a result, the priority of the team organising BIEMH is to offer the machine tool and advanced manufacturing sector an appealing event from a commercial and economic perspective, but an event that is also safe from a health point of view. For this reason, BIEMH will intensify its efforts to fulfil the commitment made to its customers with a successful 31st edition in November, where companies can showcase and learn about the most advanced technology and services and do business.
