BIEMH presents its 2020 campaign image

A chance to learn about “the technology that will change the world”

The organising team of BIEMH, International Machine Tool Exhibition, has presented the new campaign image for the event, which will be held from the 25th to the 29th of May 2020. The content of the image, both graphic and written, focuses on the value of BIEMH as an advanced manufacturing fair that can showcase “the technology that will change the world”, as their claim affirms. A large metal sphere in the centre summarises this concept, which is completed with a pun “Know/now the future” revolving around time, knowledge and the highest level of innovation that characterises the fair’s exhibiting companies.

During the Technical Advisory Committee meeting, the BIEMH team has also sought to present the main lines of action of their commercial and visitor campaigns, as well as their strategic messages. The presence of large operating machines, as well as components, tools and robotics, among others, will become one of the main differentiating aspects of the event again. It will be promoted in countries such as Germany, Austria, Belgium, China, Denmark, United States, France, Greece, The Netherlands, India, Italy, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Taiwan or Turkey, as well as domestically.

Although the commercialisation of BIEMH 2020 will begin in several weeks, the stand reservations have already reached 17%, thanks to the confirmation of automation, components and accessories, tools, machinery and metrology exhibitors. The period for preferential registration ends on 1 December. In parallel, in terms of the visitors, BEC is currently working on drafting a list of priority countries for the special domestic and international purchasers programme, focusing especially on Mexico, Germany, United States and Portugal, among others. As in previous editions, the programme will include the requests of the exhibitors. Direct collaboration with the main sectorial associations will be one of the keys to the success of the BIEMH.

The Technical Advisory Committee meeting included representatives from AFM-Advanced Manufacturing Technologies, the association co-organising the exhibition, as well as members from AIMHE-Machine Tool Importers Association of Spain, an entity participating as a collaborator with the Basque Government.
