Tomorrow, the first delegates of the BIEMH Hosted Buyer’s Programme will be arriving at Bilbao Exhibition Centre from countries such as the United States, France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Turkey, Canada, India, China and Mexico. They will all be offered an official reception with information about the exhibition offer presented at the event and data on the situation of industrial activity in our country, before starting the visit to the different halls of the exhibition.

Around 300 senior decision-makers from leading companies around the world are part of the programme, a point that confirms the initiative as a well-devised and successful commitment from the organisers. A large number of these companies, more than 70, are from Mexico, which is the Guest Country for the 32nd edition of BIEMH: a country with a very significant presence at the event and a strategic market for the industry, especially after the signing of the T-MEC and the nearshoring policy that is being carried out.

Seeking the latest solutions or components in advanced manufacturing to improve the efficiency and competitiveness of their companies is one of the main objectives that will attract the major buyers of the Hosted Buyer’s Programme to the BIEMH. This programme takes into account the requests of the exhibiting firms themselves, guaranteeing that hundreds of strategic professionals will be present and ready to meet, and enjoys the support of Basque Trade & Investment and the Basque Government.
