The BIEMH-International Machine Tool Biennial is back this year with a carefully-planned agenda of content and activities. At the end of an excellent first day, the Get Together meeting is being held; it is an exclusive event for exhibitor companies to network and create opportunities for collaboration in an informal atmosphere, with special performances, live music and a cocktail party.

Tomorrow it will be the turn of the BIEMH Talks which, through conferences, keynotes, workshops and round tables, will examine the current situation and projections for the future of the industry. They will be held over three consecutive days and divided into three blocks: Digital Talks, which will explore the latest 4.0 technologies for digital transformation; Automation & Robotics Talks, which will present news and developments in robotics and automation applied to industry and Additive Talks, which will focus on the challenges, development and implementation of additive technology.

The agenda also includes guided tours under the name of BIEMH Tours – Big Machines Tour, Automation & Robotics Tour and Innovation Tour – and BIEMH TV, which will start tomorrow with more than 50 live interviews, summaries and analysis of the conference, as well as promotional videos.

In an open and dynamic format, the BeDIGITAL Innovation Workshops will showcase the most important digital advances. And in the Innotech Area by Innobasque – Basque Innovation Agency, research and innovation projects will be set out and talks will be held until Wednesday.

Likewise, Women in Industry will run from today until Wednesday; it is a space for debate on the need for gender equality and shared leadership in the business world. Its main aim is to inspire and challenge organisations to move faster by setting measurable, credible and ambitious goals aligned with gender equality and gender-balanced leadership in industry and technology.

Finally, on Wednesday the 5th, BIEMH Fest will be held in central Bilbao, an event open to the public that will undoubtedly enrich the experience of the event.
