Throughout this week, the mezzanine of Hall 4 is welcoming visitors with the lights much dimmer than usual. The aim is to allow visitors to enjoy Stellar Material, the large Digital Art installation that the artists’ collective elektrArt has created especially for the International Machine Tool Trade-Show.
The search for new materials in space capable of revolutionising industry inspires this work, which presents visual and sound landscapes with the intention of inviting reflection on new areas for exploring, locating and extracting the resources needed for the future. An art-piece and a reflection that fit perfectly with the sectors and concepts that are the protagonists at the BEC these days: digitalisation, efficiency and innovation.
This artistic and sound creation welcomed those attending the Get Together on the first day and is coexisting throughout the week with the most advanced manufacturing technology on offer at the 32nd edition of the BIEMH at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre.
WORKinn Talent Hub also included the work of graffiti artists who have been creating, throughout the fair, several images related to industrial and robotics themes. A nod to the creativity palpable in the creations presented by the exhibiting firms, in the six pavilions of the BEC.
